Dear Son. . .
Dear Jay,
I know you're upset and eager to come home, but I want you to understand that it's not possible right now. Your safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I've been working hard to find a suitable placement for you.
Your mental health is a significant concern, and I've managed to avoid detention centers for now. However, I cannot risk putting myself and your sisters in harm's way by bringing you home. I've done everything I can to support you, from counseling to therapy, but you haven't allowed it to help.
I love you unconditionally and want the best for you. I hope you can understand that I'm making these decisions for your own good. We will move forward together, and I'll continue to fight for your well-being. Once you're in a suitable long-term facility, we'll start fresh as a family.
Remember, I'm here to support and love you, no matter what.
With all my love,
Mommy
