He is Coming Home
Hello.
How are you today?
He is coming home tomorrow. They called and finalized his medications and dosages. They are sending him home with new medications and we have to resume his services at the mental health facility locally.
He can leave after 2pm so they're going to let me know the final steps in the morning.
He seems to be in good spirits but he is still having hallucinations and delusional about what is around him but at least he hasn’t attacked anyone in a few days and hasn’t needed a shot to calm him down.
They say that he is being sent home with 12 new prescriptions and most of these meds are being recycled because he has been on all of the medications that treat his conditions but make the other illnesses remain untouched.
I hope tomorrow goes smoothly and he can come home and embrace his family. My main concern is him coming home and getting cleaned, and giving him a haircut, he most likely needs his fingernails and toenails need to be groomed. We do self-care every weekend and he has missed a few weekends. I am looking forward to him telling me all of his stories and he has new notebooks and pictures to work on so it will keep his mind busy for a little while.
I wonder what meal would he want me to make.
Is he going to be better than before?
Will I have to commit him again?
Does he hate me for committing him?
Is he mad and just waiting to get home so he can get aggressive with me again?
I don’t know what to do.
I'm usually the one who knows what to do in EVERY situation but I have no answer for this.
Thanks for Reading!!
