💫Good morning💫

I thought as my children got older that they would not want to be around me. I thought they would stop hugging me in front of their friends. I thought that they wouldn't like the kisses on their cheeks anymore. I thought they would rather be with their friends.

💣 💣 💣

I THOUGHT WRONG!

I've always taught them to love your family hard and show them love every chance you get.

 BUT. . .I wasn't expecting this new turn of things. . .

The girls bought their blankets and pillows into my room on the last day of school and set up a space for them. It has been a big sleepover every single day and it has been great.(Snacks, drinks and a flat screen with unlimited apps and a game system. This is a hotel room for them!) 😆 

Keke was fixing up her area the other morning and I was like, “So, you like being in here?” She said, “Yes ma'am. “ I said, “Do you know how long y'all are gonna stay here?” She smiles and says,”I was thinking maybe the whole summer.” Then she pauses and says,”And the new school year.” Andri chimes in,”I want to stay with you forever. “ Mia says,”Yeah.” Jay says, “I want to stay too.”

It feels so amazing to have people that genuinely want to be around me. I always tell them,”You don't have to butter me up because I'm your Mama.” They always say that they are being serious. 

I told them that we are going to have to rearrange my room for more space or something. 🤣They are down for whatever. One of my many talents is interior design so I'm going to fix up "our" new room. This should be a very fun and exciting project.

About to cook breakfast (Breakfast burritos and grits with yogurt or fruits)

Sunday Dinner has 2 options

(1)Chicken Alfredo with broccoli with roll 🥦🍜

(2)Smothered Chicken thighs, baked macaroni and cheese and green beans with a roll 🤤🍽

✨️We have our Sunday family meeting at 12/1 so I'm excited and looking forward to the new week. More Posts Coming Soon...
