My Parenting Philosophy
Today may not have been my best day, but I've made it through, and that's a triumph in itself.
I found the strength to cook a nourishing Sunday dinner for my family, and we came together for our weekly meeting, brainstorming new ideas and setting goals for the week ahead. ๐✨️
As a mother, I've learned to let my children take the reins, allowing them to set their own goals and find their own path. But when they need guidance, I'm here to support and encourage them. With a new school year approaching, we're working together to finish our summer reading challenge and explore their creativity through art. ✨️✨️
My goal is to raise children who are happy, peaceful, and true to themselves. I provide a loving home, not just a house, with nourishing meals, comfortable clothes, and endless snacks. ๐ ๐คฃ But most importantly, I give them the freedom to express themselves, to find their own happiness, and to grow into the individuals they're meant to be.๐๐
I've learned that every child is unique, and what worked for me or my Mama may not work for them. So, I adapt, I listen, and I meet them where they are. I'm exhausted at the end of each day, but I know it's worth it. ๐
My hope is that when my children grow up, they'll look back and say, 'My mommy helped me become the person I needed to be.' That's my legacy, and that's what drives me forward. ➡️
To all the parents out there, I encourage you to do the same – stand by your children, support them, and let them grow into their own unique selves.๐ฅฐ
