An Update about Jay

I've been anxiously awaiting an update on Jay's well-being since yesterday, and this morning, I called the facility again to check in. Initially, I was told that he would call me on his designated phone day, but I explained that I simply needed reassurance that he was okay. Unfortunately, the staff continued to be vague, but as a parent, I don't take my child's welfare lightly.

I kept pressing...

Jay called me a few hours later, and it was a huge relief to hear his voice. He sounded happy and relaxed, and when I asked how he was doing, he replied that he was okay. We chatted about his accommodations, and he mentioned that he has a nice room. He also expressed his eagerness to see me and asked when he could come home.

I explained that we would have a video call next week to discuss more details about his stay and release. I'm looking forward to seeing him on camera and talking to his team.

For now, I want to keep him focused on his healing and recovery, without worrying about what's going on at home. As his parent, it's my job to shield him from unnecessary stress and ensure that he can concentrate on getting better.
