Feeling Enough: A Journey of Self-Discovery

As I approach my 29th birthday, I find myself reflecting on my life. I've always strived to do everything "right." I cook, clean, and take care of my family's needs. I prioritize my husband's satisfaction, ensure my daughters' well-being, and maintain a clean and organized home.

I'm a devoted student, pursuing a career and working diligently to improve my credit score. My ultimate goal is to provide a forever home for my loved ones. I'm faithful, respectful, and kind, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Despite my best efforts, I'm left feeling unfulfilled. A nagging voice whispers, "You're not enough." I'm constantly questioned, criticized, and treated like the problem. The weight of these expectations is crushing me.

Why do I feel like I'm never enough for myself? Why do others see me as the issue? I've honored my daughter's memory, even in her absence. I've put others' needs before my own, sacrificing my own desires and dreams.

As my birthday approaches, I'm faced with the stark reality that another year has passed with little progress toward my own happiness. I'm left wondering, "Why am I still here?"

In this moment, I'm forced to confront the harsh truth: I've lost sight of my own worth. I've let the opinions of others define my self-value. It's time for me to take a step back, re-evaluate my priorities, and focus on self-love and self-acceptance.

I want to challenge myself and others to rethink what it means to be "enough." Is it about meeting societal expectations or fulfilling our own dreams? It's time for me to break free from the shackles of self-doubt and embrace my true worth.
