Healing from Toxic Relationships: A Journey of Self-Discovery

✨️✨️I'm sitting here, reflecting on the past, and wondering... why? Why did I feel guilty when I didn't do anything wrong? Why did I tolerate lies, cheating, and disrespect? Why did I stand by someone who belittled women? Why did I continue to prioritize someone who wouldn't do the same for me?

For a long time, I struggled with self-doubt, low self-esteem, and anxiety. Simple things like my phone ringing or someone knocking on my door would make my skin crawl. I felt uncomfortable in my own bed, and I couldn't look in the mirror without criticizing myself.

But here's the thing: I've been doing better since I removed that toxicity from my life. With each passing day, I feel more empowered, more confident. I've been repeating affirmations to myself, reminders that:

I'm not crazy.
I'm not a bitch.
I'm not fat.
I'm not unattractive.
I'm a success.
I'm worthy of a genuine relationship.
I'm a good person and a friend.

People look up to me, and I make a difference in the world. These affirmations have become my mantra, my reminder that better days are ahead.

I know I'm not alone in this journey. If you're reading this, chances are you've been through something similar. Know that you're not alone, and you're not to blame. It's okay to take time to heal, to focus on yourself, and to rediscover your worth.

Thanks for reading my story. Remember, you are worthy of love, respect, and happiness. Keep pushing forward, and know that better days are ahead.✨️✨️
