Every tick, a painful echo
9:15, my heart sinks low
A bittersweet reminder of what's lost
A fragment of time that forever costs
Living with a shattered heart
Is a weight that's hard to impart
Devastation seeps into every day
Longing for memories that never fade
I write to express, to hold on tight
To cherish moments, though she's not in sight
Tears fall as I remember her smile
Yearning to create new memories, all the while
In this ache, I search for strength
To keep her memory close, a heartfelt length
Though time may heal, it won't erase
The pain of losing her, the memories we couldn't make.
