#Triggered: A Day of Overwhelming Anxiety

✨️✨️Today was one of those days where my anxiety felt like it was suffocating me. Sleep has been elusive lately, and my nerves have been frayed. But nothing could have prepared me for the unexpected trigger that sent my world spinning.
While grabbing lunch, I caught a whiff of a familiar smell. Suddenly, I was on high alert, scanning my surroundings to ensure I wasn't in danger. My body began to shake, my head pounded, and my legs felt like jelly. I was convinced I was going to lose control. Fear gripped me, but I managed to compose myself, catch my breath, and quickly leave the store.
The rest of the day was a blur until my mom sensed something was off and came to pray with me. Her comforting presence and words of encouragement helped calm my racing thoughts. After a relaxing afternoon, I woke up feeling slightly better, thanks to a reassuring call with Jay.
Hearing that Jay is doing better and knowing I can send him cards and gifts has brought me a sense of joy and connection. It's a small but significant step towards healing and rebuilding our bond.
Today was a tough reminder that healing is a journey, not a destination. But with the support of loved ones and my own resilience, I'll keep moving forward, one step at a time.✨️✨️
