Life Update: Ups and Downs

It's been a while since I last updated you all, and I appreciate your patience. To be honest, I've been trying to process my emotions and gather my thoughts before sharing this update with you.

Firstly, I wanted to share some news about my court hearing. While my public defender had prepared me for a different outcome, I'm relieved to report that my charge was knocked down. Although this wasn't my desired result, I'm grateful that I won't have a felony on my record. 😫

On a more challenging note, my health has taken a turn for the worse over the past few days. Managing my illness has become increasingly difficult, and I'm facing some tough physical challenges. My toe is still a concern, but thankfully, my C-section scar is slowly healing. My Mama has been a rock for me, and her reassurance means the world.

In other news, I've been dealing with some worrying developments regarding Jay's health. Just before our monthly team meeting, I received a call from his nurses informing me that they'll be stopping one of his medications and introducing a new one at a higher dose. I'm scared for him, to be honest. His behavior has been concerning, and he's been saying and doing some dangerous things. The nurses have also pointed out that he's always blaming others for his actions. What's even more concerning is that they said that Jay doesn't seem to take his situation seriously, and he doesn't appear to care about the consequences of his actions. They have advised that his probation officer should get involved more to try to direct him on the right track before he ends up back in the detention center. His lack of concern is difficult for me to witness AGAIN, and I'm worried about what the future holds. 😭

✨️Thank you for reading and supporting me on this journey. Your kindness and understanding mean everything to me. ✨️😊
