"Happy" Mother's Day!!

Mother's Day vibes are kinda all over the place for me today. Got a call from Jay, and he sounded super down, but still managed to throw in a Happy Mother's Day wish. It's tough when you're far apart, and all the 'hello, miss you' convos just add to the sadness. He's still waiting on those packages with my gift – new shirts – and I know he's hyped.

Over here, it's business as usual – teenager drama, tablets needing charge after charge, and general exhaustion. My crew's all about their screens, and I'm just trying to keep it together. Some days, Mother's Day feels like just another day. All I wanna do is chill with some soothing water sounds and catch a nap, but that ain't happening anytime soon.

Guess I'll order some key lime pie and get lost in social media for a bit. Not exactly the most glamorous Mother's Day plan, but hey, it's all about finding those small joys, right? Maybe I'll even get some laughs out of it. That's what moms do – we make do and find the humor. 💆‍♀️🍰📱
