Welcome to 'The Face of Evil: Infamous Men in History.' In this series, we'll explore the lives and actions of men who have been known for their notorious deeds and impact on history. Let's start with Saddam Hussein, the 5th President of Iraq, and examine his life and presidency.
Born on April 28, 1937, he served as the 5th President of Iraq from 1979 to 2003. During his presidency, Saddam implemented policies that had far-reaching consequences for the Iraqi people. One notable example is the treatment of the Barzani clan, where thousands of males disappeared, and decades later, mass graves were discovered containing the remains of over 500 people. A letter surfaced in Baghdad suggesting Saddam's direct involvement in these events. Additionally, Saddam's presidency was marked by reports of human rights abuses, including torture and violence against his OWN people. In his personal life, Saddam married in 1958 and had multiple children. Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging on December 30, 2006, for crimes against humanity. Reports indicate that during his execution, he remained defiant and directed insults until the bitter end. Isn't that something?!!

Uday Hussein, born on June 18, 1964, was the eldest son of Saddam Hussein. Some accounts suggest that as a student, Uday had difficulty concentrating. As he grew older, Uday studied his father's tactics and behavior, which some believe influenced his own actions later in life. Uday was appointed to the Iraqi Olympic Committee in 1984, a position that gave him significant influence over Iraqi sports.
Reports and accounts from various sources describe Uday's behavior as volatile and violent. Some claim he would target individuals, including athletes, for perceived slights or failures, leading to widespread fear among those around him. His actions and behavior have been widely criticized, with many viewing him as unstable and unpredictable.
It is also said that Uday would get his staff to snatch girls off the streets and he would raped them and kill them afterwards. He had NO REMORSE for what did to his OWN people. He didn't like people, and the PEOPLE surely didn't like him.
He is #3 on the most wanted list from the former Iraqi regime.
Uday Hussein was killed on July 22, 2003, during a raid by American forces in Mosul, Iraq. He was hiding with his brother Qusay and Qusay's 14-year-old son Mustafa in a safehouse. The operation, which lasted around 4-5 hours, turned into an intense gunfight after the brothers refused to surrender. Despite being hit by TOW missiles and heavy gunfire, the brothers and their bodyguard held their ground until they were eventually killed.
