Movie Review: Chariot 🎬 (On Tubi)

When Chariot first starts, the acting is honestly unbearable — I almost turned it off.

But once the plot starts to thicken, things get much better. The story is supposedly about the end of the world, and if you’ve made it onto this mysterious plane, then you’ve basically dodged a bullet. This flight is heading to some undisclosed location where the passengers will supposedly survive while everyone else perishes.

The passengers have absolutely nothing in common, which makes the whole situation even more suspicious.

They spend most of the movie trying to figure out why they were chosen to escape the apocalypse. From the very beginning, I had my eye on that lady in the pressed suit — I knew she was part of whatever was going on, and I was right. They tried to make her story sad toward the end, but I couldn’t even feel bad for her when everything hit the fan.

It’s definitely action-packed, and at times it feels like they’re going to be stuck flying until the plane runs out of gas. There are even phone videos showing the world ending below, but I won’t spoil too much. What I will say is that it’s a good movie overall — the tension builds perfectly, and the ending is intense and chillingly real. The final message that flashes on the screen actually scared me, not gonna lie.

I’d give Chariot a solid 9 out of 10. It’s far from perfect, but it delivers suspense, mystery, and a surprising amount of emotional punch once things get going.
